... and just when we thought it was safe to venture back into the water and join our new turtly amazing friends, the nor easter that is a sailors delight becomes a swimmers dread.... those pesky pretty blue translucent bubbles of pain return - lurking beyond the "impact zone" to kiss swimmers who have braved the impact zone, thinking they are free from danger..... on the plus side, the light this morning was almost ethereal, the rising sun painting the powder puff clouds as though a Monet-inspired canvas for us to enjoy, infusing the calming energy of the morning light, even if we decided not to "enjoy" a physical immersion...
water temp: 23.2 (we are loving guys optimistic happy drawing today!)
air temp at 7am: 24.2 and a little muggy
conditions: messy, deceptive
Vibe: cautious
Watching the sunrise from the point seemed like a sensible option!
beach exercise was also a good option today!
Ian briefs the 7am swimmers (note: ian was probably the only person kissed between half way and shelley!)
Drinks and capless swam north and were kissed multiple times...
David was smothered in kisses as well - a champion effort!
Roger, Jimmy, Paul and friends looked out to sea in eager anticipation of a bluebottle free alley to the point .... not finding any, they decided a frolic was a good option...
Mermaids Simone, Tracey and Jo walked along the beach collecting rubbish - a productive way to spend the morning and ensure our piece of paradise remains clean, and enables our turtly amazing aquatic creatures to enjoy their home !
Despite our unwelcome blue friends, it was lovely to infuse the energy of vitamin sea & morning light, walk along the sand, play in the waves and enjoy coffee and a few chats! So stay safe (from bluebottles and other nasties!), look out for and after each other (in, on and out of the water!), always be kind and have a wonderful Wednesday!

024 Summer Badge Ceremony – Sunday 24th March at 8 am
You’ve done the hard yards and earned your Winter Badge(s), so why not collect them personally with all the pomp and ceremony the B&B can muster. Our Summer Badge Ceremony will be held at the Shelly Beach Reserve (please note new venue) on Sunday 24th March, at 8 am, straight after the regular swim! Everyone is welcome, family, friends and swimmers alike. Bring along $10 for each badge you have earned (credit cards will be accepted at this event). $5 will be donated to RFW for each badge collected at this event, so, if you can’t make it, get your friends to collect your badge for you. Or if you have previous badges you have forgotten to collect, now is the time to do it.
As usual, we are raising funds for the Royal Far West, so a $5 per person donation will be payable on entry, and .... RFW will provide a FREE breakfast (sausage sandwich and a drink). Bookings are essential to ensure there is enough food. Book here NOW https://www.boldandbeautifulmanly.com.au/2024-summer-badge-ceremony.html
