Swimmers most definitely are grinners! That cold water and exercise gets the endorphins pumping like nothing else. Always loads of smiles and friendly banter around our swim...whatever is happening in your life, in the words of the great Roger Harvey 'get your body down and your mind will follow'. You're sure to leave feeling happy :-)
Sunrise was at 6.17am today and many people had already swam in phosphorescence starting out at 5.10am. It could still be around tomorrow so get there early!Temp was up to 17.1, not so clear and a bit bumpy but still a great swim :-)
There was a dead, baby PJ on the sand as we walked in today. Jude and I checked it for fishing hooks but it was probably natural causes. (We also checked it was a male by looking for claspers and checked out his gummy mouth ;-))
Some of those amazing smiles :-) :-)
A PJ trying to deposit it's egg in a safe spot
Only the 2nd Angel Shark I've seen in CTB in 11 years of swims!
A Crested Horn Shark looking for PJ eggs. Note he has got more blurry markings and a bumpier head than a PJ
PJ with triangular harness marking
Billie the turtle!
Keep swimming...and grinning!
lots of love
