Marilyn Monroe famously liked to bathe in a champagne bubble bath. Today we set out at 6.30am in clear, warm, frothy water that Marilyn would have loved. By 7.30 coming back in, the heavens had opened, Guy’s temperature tower was frothing like an exploding volcano, and the rip was more of a dirty martini.

Pitch Report:
A tale of 2 halves. Super blue, clear up to 10m in parts. Flat, lots of moving water over the banks. Along the edges to the hut some amazing sea life. Coming back from a double the heavens opened and we swam towards where we thought the point was. A jetski roared past on the tail of the 7am crew. We wondered why and stuck together. Rounded the point and a brown turkish coffee stain raced towards us in the rip, leaves, sand, and a slight metallic taste. I tried not to take on any water.
