Happy Monday swimmers! I hope everyone had a lovely weekend.
The water was supposedly 16.6 this morning, although it definitely felt a lot colder than that today! The water has cleared up a lot around the point & is a lot less sharky than some of the horrible conditions last week. It’s still a bit murky closer to Shelly.
As I’ve mentioned previously, I’m a very proud member of the A Team, and we had a pretty solid group of swimmers this morning. It was so nice to see everyone!
In typical A Team competitive fashion, I feel obligated to let you know that Tim came out on top today. Congrats Tim (points are definitely deducted because he’s in a full wetty though haha).
Here are a few pics I took this morning! I hope you enjoy them.
Until next time,
Tilly xx
7am’ers heading into the water. It was a beautiful morning
Absolute legend and former party animal (former because there were no parties this weekend) Ghost was happy with his 6.30am swim (without the A Team!)
Newport John (from Long Reef), Irish Alex, and Fijian Dan, all post 7am swim
Me, Tim, Dr Stu and future B&B champ Jonah
The A Team post swim coffee at the benches (Tim holding up #1 to celebrate his victory today!)
This little legend turned 7 today! Celebrating with his mum & one of my fave people, Leah. Happy Birthday Reuben!

Bold and the Beautiful, we’re taking part in the 48 Hour Mission to save our planet.
The 48 Hour Mission is a virtual event, using the power of sport to motivate planet-friendly lifestyle swaps. You can enter as part of a club or an individual. To enter, each person must make at least one planet-friendly pledge, e.g. say goodbye to takeaway coffee cups, or go meat-free four days a week. On 7 - 9 October 2022, participants have 48 hours to earn points through swimming, running, walking or cycling, with prizes for the clubs and individuals that accumulate the most points (all tracked via Strava). Point scoring:
1km cycle = 1 point
1km run/walk = 5 points
1km swim = 20 points.
To take part:
1. Make your pledge for the planet
2. Follow Pledge for the Planet on Strava
3. Get your free after party ticket
