It's December and the past few days have been COLD...... what gives? It was back to jackets and other warm clothes today. However the swimming conditions were good, the ocean temp was about the same as the air temp and that's a Good Thing
I'm loving the daily conditions broadcast - not only is it beautiful to look at, it's informative as well.
The weekend blog roster is a bit short so if you'd like to be part of the elite blogger community and use your creative skills at the same time we'd love you to join us! Newbies are very welcome.
Despite the cloud cover it was a lovely morning and in fact these conditions bring out all the colours.
This lovely eagle ray was chilling at the Point when I went out and was still there when I came back. I remember the first time I saw an eagle ray flying across the rocks, what seemed just inches below me at the Point and thinking that's it I'm getting an underwater camera. I'm grateful to that eagle ray.
This a Pocillopora aliciae,a hard coral that has only recently taken up residence in CTB. It attaches itself to bare rock and there are more of them around Deadmans
And the highlight of today's swim - no introduction needed. Happy days. For me anyway, not sure about the cuttlefish.
Lovely swim technique spotted on the way back
What am I listening to? I found this waaaaaay down a Youtube Music rabbit hole. Do you know who did the original? First one with the right answer gets a prize - the warm inner glow of music nerd smugness.
Have an excellent weekend.
