This morning the temperature and swell were up from yesterday, 19.1 with a few small waves, opposed to the glassy conditions yesterday.
Yesterday the Australian Seabird Rescue team released Pepita, a turtle that was in their care after a being injured by a boat.
The green agents from Manly Village Public School were invited to watch the release. They are passionate about our marine environment and supporters of ASR, raising thousands of dollars through fundraisers. Many of you have also supported through purchasing baked goods at one of my daughter's bake sales.
Pepita was little wobbly at first, but then found her stroke.
These girls are part of a group of 7 girls that call themselves the Manly Mini Mermaids. They swam during lockdown to secure their first bold an beautiful badge. It was a highlight of lockdown and great to see the next generation of B&Bers.
A few photos from the bay this week
Hope you all get a chance to see Pepita. Have a great day!
