My inspo word SUNRISE!
Here we are in week 7 of what could be a few more weeks to come of lockdown and what better peeps to turn to for some ‘iso inspo’ to literally, help keep our heads above water.
I’ve asked the swimmers this morning for one word to inspire the rest of us to hang in there and stay as positive as possible . To be honest, at the moment we probably have time to read more than one word, but you know how talkative the blog tarts can get!!
So get your hashtags ready to pass on these pick me up proclamations !
Speaking of talkative…JK had a word or 10 for us. The first word, I can’t say…cause this is a G rated blog, but it rhymes with muck…! The second word was cold…then coldish…finally he settled on refreshing! So we will take refreshing as inspo from JK…I like it! Just keep hitting that refresh button folks
Other wise words for this trio were persevere and humor from Sean…so if you need a laugh…he is your man!
Ian…who was busy with his pink thermometer cup said “sleep” He was getting lots of catch up sleep in iso but what he isn’t getting in iso is a haircut !! We are all looking. Forward to the dreadlocks growing in Ian. Btw…water temp was a “refreshing “ 15.5 degrees but felt much colder if you ask me!
Lori and Attracter have been working on a contactless “connection” ! We are fortunate that we can stay connected during these times. Lots of zoom and FaceTime and blogging…keeps us all feeling part of this wonderful community.
Andrew was spruiking with his word this morning…”documentary” the perfect segway to talk to James…the film maker for the BnB doco coming to a cinema near you…one day…eventually…hopefully sooner rather than later !!
And James’ inspo for today ….”dedication” and he has this in spades! Putting a fab film together for us all to enjoy. Thanks buddy!
Jim and Mark were all smiles! Jim said “profound” ! As in profound feeling of contentment and it appears Mark was content this morning, he simply said “beautiful” . A 10/10 morning for him.
Now here’s a word that will keep us all buzzed through the rest of the lockdown “ COFFEE” yes please Duncan…make mine a double!
Lisa and Tina practicing what they preach with “movement “ and “swim”. Perfect!
Jimmy snuck up to the wall to give his piece of advice “stick at it”! Which is technically 3 words but then we added a #stickatit….crisis averted!
Nat and Jen were all about ‘ smiles’ and the ‘beach’! So here they are smiling at the beach :)
Then these 3 friendly folk bought a little culture to the blog today!
Roz ( middle ) proclaimed an beautiful Italian word. “ accogliente” ( pronounced aco-lien-te) translating to “all embracing” ( as long s it’s not each other! ) Then the lovely Gemma wanted to add her cosmopolitan touch and being from the UK said “fish and chips” hmm..in one word? How about “food?” I guess a good feed will keep us going! Speaking of food it lead our German friend Ranier to announce “schnitzel” as hid positive affirmation for the day. He went on to elaborate, ” schnitzel von crumb…with a very low tum” I would suggest reading any one of the Hairy Maclary books for an instant happiness hit! Puppies always make us smile! Speaking of puppies…here are some i prepared earlier;
so if you’re feeling a little blue or you are struggling right now ( and who isn’t?) try and stay positive. Phone or FaceTime a friend or jump on the ocean and marvel at the beauty all around. And don’t forget….there’s always puppies!
keep smiling
