Van Morrison’s song sums it up so well. What else to say or better to explain the recent conditions. The lyrics have been ringing in my ears as we enjoy some of the best visibility and conditions for ocean swimming (and sightseeing) in our beautiful bay.
Yesterday I mentioned to the legendary Drinky that I’ d seen 4 octopuses on my swim that day. He laughed (that man always has a laugh ready how does he do it) and said something like ‘ there you are, we all enjoy different things from the swim’. How true, as in life.
Today was another beautiful swim with the distinct ‘ enjoy it while it lasts’ feeling as big swells are predicted to arrive shortly. Some will enjoy that thought and others like me will review plans about where to enter the bay.

Anne also gave us a complicated explanation attempting to explain how to to differentiate between males and females. Something to do with the males third right appendage (hectocotylus allegedly) being unlike the rest. I’ll just park that thought and head to less complicated territory.
The amazing Errol and Justus emerging like young gazelles from their swim today

A view we know and love
Thats all from me folks turn up Van Morrison loud and enjoy.
