I love my walks to the club where I can see the morning surfers heading down to the beach. The morning light is always interesting and luckily today the weather was holding up. No rain yet! In Manly, up north yes.
Greg and friends all having a catch up pre swim, also wondering -what's happened to the toilet block? There are cubicles now outside the toilets.
My view of the water as I got ready and contemplated the temperature.
This lovely couple also left their towels where mine was, chatted about turtles and all things nice
I was lucky to bump into Michele and Roz at the point, they asked me to join them at the bower break. I lagged behind cos I"m slower, but as I was swimming across the bay I thought to myself how nice it was I could just join in . Otherwise I would have done the scenic route alone looking for fish.
Martin was with us too but he tried swimming to Shelly before he realised he was supposed to be with us at the break. It was quite a bouncy bay, especially at the bower break, so really not a lot to see underwater. I got one photo of a fish I always love watching, they're always in groups and really pretty.
A few large waves here and there that I managed to avoid and then I found this sign on the beach.
Ian lapping up the feminine attention
I had a lovely breakfast with Gill and Jonno
and Elizabeth and Daphne
Marion was also there but had already left.
Not sure what this is all about, anyone?
As I walked back to my car, Errol was starting a swim alone, but had one of his sons up the walkway watching him.
