BOLD & BEAUTIFUL IS NOT CURRENTLY MEETING DUE TO THE CONTINUED RISK OF COVID-19. IT IS IMPORTANT TO CONTINUE PHYSICAL DISTANCING AND FOLLOW PUBLIC HEALTH ADVICE. THANK YOU FOR SWIMMING AT DIFFERENT TIMES OF THE DAY.
With all the chat about the Great White, today turned out to be quite spectacular on all fronts with whales frolicking in the distance too.
B&Bers are made of stronger stuff to be deterred from swimming by fears of a great white sighting although there was definitely a return to the safety in numbers swimming as a collective!
Back to the start and these 2 Michael's were unaware of the great white sighting but still eager and confident to go in knowing the 6:30 team were coming back in in what appeared to be a calm fashion!
Some teams strategically were choosing which one was going to be in the middle!
In fact, mood levels were beautifully high at the start of the swim:
And at the halfway point:
General vitamin sea levels were high this morning and I was delighted to meet my namesake Petra and her lovely friend Simone:
And these two quokka sisters from other misters:
This amazing duo did not see the great white but spotted an impressive 5 grey nurses and the turtle!
And last but not least full credit to the keen eye of this lady who was the first to spot the whales - was told by others after the elation is what notified others the whales were out there!
Happy hump day all!
