BOLD & BEAUTIFUL IS NOT CURRENTLY RUNNING DUE TO THE IMPORTANCE OF SOCIAL DISTANCING AND STAYING INSIDE AS MUCH AS IS POSSIBLE DUE TO CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19).
It's also important to swim at different times not in large groups to comply with Covid 19 advice from the government.
The weather change arrived and it won't be perfect for swimming again until the middle of the week. If you started at Manly this is how it looked
If you started at Shelly this is how it looked, calmer and easier. The waves were quite high at Manly at times and they're going to get bigger. Luckily at Shelly things were still calm and clear. Thanks to Jenny Kent for the pic.
The early crew were all smiles and loved their swim, especially those in wetsuits.
I swam with Jim Hudson and here he is chatting to people as they arrive, always the social person, stopping to say HI.
We dodged some big waves at the point and then had an easy swim down the bay. Things got clearer at the Shelly end, and we only saw a few people in the bay too. These two swimmers were clearly in sync
We saw a beautiful PJ down deep on the floor having a sleep.
On the return leg we bumped into Annie who was starting her swim
I dodged some dumpers coming in, learning to time my entry and exit with time, and always enjoy touching down on the sand. Love a low tide swim.
Ken and Sam did a double today in no wetsuit, thats' my goal too, just for a challenge.
Ok that's all for me today, stay safe everyone, until next weekend, edwina.
