Those who say one person cannot bring down the world, have obviously not eaten a bat! (care of Facebook 😁)
We're still in the thick of this surreal time thanks to that bat eating person (I hope it tasted good otherwise this was all for nothing) and we are all trying to navigate this time as best we can.
For those of us who need to exercise, whether that be swimming, running, yoga, kayaking... we can all follow the COVID definition for exercise.
Cautiousness - apply cautiousness at all times. Maintain 1.5 metres. Don't run too close to people and scare the bejesus out of them. Similarly don't swim over people. Simples! (as the meerkat from the insurance ads would say!)
Overplan - think about exercising at times that might not be so crowded. Don't forget to throw in the hand sanitiser. SLIP SLOP SLAP and SANITISE.
Vigilance - be vigilant - kind of like being in a car. You might trust your own driving skills but do you trust the skills of others? Predict the movement of people around you - even if you have to perform a martial arts forward roll to get out of their way.
Intelligence - be smart about it. We know how it spreads and what we need to do to curtail the spread.
Diligence - Be diligent on completing your exercise and move on. Wash your hands when you get home, don't touch your face (and don't touch your kids or partners faces as hard as that might be when squashed in close proximity for a little too long....😳)

I saw Anne Henshaw at a distance exiting the water this morning. I asked her to send me cool sea-life photos for the blog. Excitedly, she said she saw the octopus again at the pool -then some colourful expletives rushed from her mouth - she thought she had the camera on the wrong setting! Photo looks fab to me!! Thanks Anne!

sometimes the fish swim a bit too fast but you get the drift. This is a photo of the less popular black bream.

This is the rock where the turtle sleeps not far from the pool. Some lucky swimmers saw the turtle today but seeing where it sleeps is just as good - isn't it?

Here's a fan bellied leather jacket. You need to use your imagination a bit for this one. Again, it was a bit quick.

On arrival at Shelly it was pretty much deserted apart from Lainey, Sooze and Helen and a few people moving on in the background.

Some lovely sights on way back to Manly - before jumping out and going home - after a quick stop at Kane and Annieliese' Point Cafe.

Speaking of Point Cafe - this is too good not to share. Credit - Roger Harvey.
Go steadily. Stay safe!

PS Apologies for blog delay and lack of photos today - there are some serious uploading issues with typepad today!
