I’ve been asked by management to start with the announcement that the swim group is suspended. I think that means for everyone not to start at 7am .
I started swimming at 6.15 and was greeted by a beautiful pink sky I’ve seen on everyone’s Facebook posts this week ,
Ian checking out the water before getting in , it’s been two weeks since my last visit and a joy to see familiar faces.
I swam alone but saw a few little groups , one reported seeing a huge turtle somewhere in line with the point but heading to the bower break. Not my lucky day
this wise lady started alone and early.
I saw Ian also doing the wise thing, exercising alone in a beautiful environment, heading out to the bower break.
Upon my return people were starting , John on the left being a bit vain , maybe, but kindly informed me today is Tony’s 1000km swim! Well done tony 🥳
During the week I bumped into Huw at the bakery
I also saw Gino out and about one morning,
Jenny and I had a bike ride last weekend
Don’t forget to support local businesses, I got a take away Coffee from Bluewater and found others doing the same.
One water shot before I leave you, I’ve been told we should all pretend we have the virus and don’t want to spread it. Stay safe and away from crowds, until next blog , edwina 💖
