BOLD & BEAUTIFUL IS NOT CURRENTLY RUNNING DUE TO THE IMPORTANCE OF SOCIAL DISTANCING AND STAYING INSIDE AS MUCH AS IS POSSIBLE DUE TO CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19).
That doesn't mean to say we can't exercise... so for most of us it's a swim earlier or later than the usual 7am time, on our own or with one other, preferably with a different cap colour and no hanging around post-swim.
Apparently the Grey Nurse is usually seen early in the morning and I was lucky enough to see this small one yesterday at around 6.45am. He was gorgeous! I didn't swim this morning as went for a bike ride with Wilf instead, but when I asked people what it was like, the response from a few was, 'Just beautiful'...
The Green Turtle a few of us have been lucky enough to see lately has been taken away for rehabilitation. I took these photos on Friday morning.
Here's an update on the turtle rescue and where he is.
Butterflyfish
Crimson Banded Wrasse
Another of the Grey Nurse as he swam in to deeper waters...
Loads of Gropers around at the moment
Not such a colourful sunrise this morning, but beautiful all the same...
It was Brian's 2000 swim today! No arch unfortunately but here he is with his mate Danny.
Calm, clear and quite warm
Nothing like a smile and virtual hug from Sophie to start your day!
Or a cheery 'Hello' from Jac and Kerry
Or a wave from the McNaughties!
Have a great week everyone!

Blog notice for the week:
Something to watch:
A Kiwi film-maker and outdoor swimmer based in London, Patrick McLennan, thought B&B swimmers might be interested in watching his film, The Ponds, about the all year-round swimmers of Hampstead Heath, London. We are sure it will resonate with many of our swimmers and is a nice feel good story of healthy, well-being and passion for the cold water buzz, a nice light relief movie to enjoy at this time...
