We really are a wonderful bunch of people at Bold and Beautiful - generous with our support of Royal Far West, generous with our support of one another and we love a good cause.
On Sunday we all collected our winter badges with our entry fee raising $1,372 for Royal Far West. They wish to thank everyone who came along and are offering a tour of the new building to any swimmers. If you are interested contact Desiree on [email protected].
Jim Stackpool has also asked us to thank the generous Bold and Beautiful swimmers who supported or came along to last Saturday night's Streetwork Charity Gig at the Manly Bowlo. It seems you gusy andced and revelled your way to raise $5,000 to support Streetwork Counsellors in their day to day work with kids suffering life-changing stress on the Norther Beaches.
Well done everyone.
These lovely ladies, Wendy and Emily are Sue's friends from Melbourne. They swim with Maria's Mermaids at Port Melbourne, the largest ocean swim group in Melbourne. It's a group of 14, so imagine their pleasure swimming with our lot this morning.
It was nice to have Pauline back swimming today - she's been busy working to keep Ian in the life he is accustomed too!!
Inge is another generous with her time. She has been giving me some pointers with my stroke - seems for me my legs are the issue. There's always a group of willing students for Inge in the mornings.
Its amazing what you find at sea. Rochelle found this little teapot and did her bit to rid the ocean of plastics. Great job. She is one of the triathletes. For those wondering what the triathlon badge was that was also presented on Sunday - its top secret - join Warringah Triathlon Club and they may just let you in on the secret and share some of their cake on Fridays. Warringah run monthly duathlons/triathlons at North Head - check out their website for more details.
Part of the 6.30 regulars who are usually getting back as we head out.
Wetsuits were still all the go this morning for some.
Elaine helped Errol with a bit of a warm shower after his swim this morning.
The bench is always a good place for a pre-swim chat.
Lisa has reclaimed the wall for the WOW's - Michael looked like he was trying to claim this week Lisa so glad to have you back swimming with us again.
Thanks again for your generosity and see you swimming again soon.

Please book early for this event as it is sure to be popular. The cost of the dinner is great value at only $25 a head, which includes shared entrees, and a selection of mains to choose from (including a vegetarian option). Glasses of beer or wine and desserts are also available at the special price of only $5 each. Numbers are limited, so bookings are essential.
