Thanks for the blog title today Cherie Humel! There were so many schools of smaller fish of Mados, Silver Sweep, Yellowtail and Hulafish. They seem to swim closer to the water surface when sharks are about... and there are! The Dusky Whalers are still swimming gracefully around the bay, which makes for an exciting swim!
This is the scene at 6.50am outside the Surf Club. Nat, Peter and Sam give me a wave!
Around 240 of us got our 'Dr Salt', 'Vitamin Sea', 'Happy Pill' today and 3 new swimmers came along.
3 catches of the day today! Pete, Suzie and Julian returning from their 6.30am swim.
Heather, Candice, Shelley and John enjoying the 22.5 degree water. (It's dropped from 24 at the weekend :-( )
Craig and his swim buddies
Fiona only has 4 days left before she returns to the UK. She's going to miss the swim and warm, friendly community that's for sure.
Judy and her son Lachlan who I reminded I taught in Year 1 as a relief teacher. We were studying celebrations and did a pretend wedding and married him off to a fellow 6 year old! It was hilarious!
Wendy and Leisa back from their trip around Southern India and loving the conditions.
Swimming with Jac and Heather we spot a huge Bull Ray at The Point...
Jac, in her skeleton cozzie, dives down to have a closer look!
We've missed the 'Let's Go' so frolic around amongst the beautiful schools of fish!
The water isn't as clear as yesterday but still pretty good. We see a few Duskies between the shed and pool...
The Duskies are timid and flick their tails as we dive down...
...but the Mados and Silver Sweep aren't fazed by Heather at all!
We bump in to Kerry and Attracta at The Point!
Post swim smiles from Greg, Rosie, Jesse and Cherie
