Extreme change to blog format today. Here are some early morning swimmers first up:
Ken looks different to his BB attendance photo
Another beautiful day for swimming when it was warmer inside the water than out
I have developed a super power. I photographed Gemma even though I did not know it was her birthday. How impressive is that? HAPPY BIRTHDAY GEMMA
This work group had an off-site at Manly last year and was so pleased to be in the blog that this year they came back to Manly for this year's off-site. And for a swim of course.
Javier is going to try swimming with his phone today
Mark is one of the many swimmers doing the Bondi swim on Sunday. Good luck
Greta with Parker. He is going to swim soon
A team at the A team tree
An early swimmer who does not even need silicon skirts on his goggles because he swims so fast, the water can't even get in
Christof was pretending to shiver at the thought of the swim
People reading the blog always like to see a dog photo - this is a dog in dress up
Heaps of swimmers coming in for 7 am
I have just told Greg a joke. It was hilarious
Encounters with some early swimmers
Look at this excellent breathing
Look at Kerry's goggles with very adjustable rear fasteners
In my quest for swim technique improvement:
Swim equipment - if you see me with these power bags on it is not because i have been entangled in fishing nets. It is swimming equipment that helps give you drag. Actually I can generate plenty of my own drag : http://www.swimmersbest.com/products/drag-gear-power-bags/
Also, swim sticks
What I have been reading
The Tattooist of Auschwitz by Heather Morris. Based on a true story. It is hard going because I know the way the situation turns out.
