Typepad is back up. We've successfully repelled yesterday's onslaught of Russian bots and state-sponsored North Korean cybercriminals. The Bold & Beautiful blog will not be silenced.
A total of 194* good looking swimmers enjoyed the continued run of balmy water temperatures. We're still sitting pretty at 21 degrees!
(*entirely made up - honestly, I have no idea)
Kudos to Matt, who spotted the blog camera before everyone else:
Proof that Gemma is always (ALWAYS!) late:
Still enough swell around to add a bit of fun when entering the water:
Jo thought it a would be a good idea to splash the blogger - we'll see where that get's you, Jo..
Better behaved - Rusty and Gemma patiently waiting at the Point:
Getting directions..
I arrived at Shelly, just in time for the Happy Birthday:
Birthday Girl Freya with mum Elizabeth:
Birthday Girl Freya with brother Hayden:
JK annoyed by something:
Things got a little out of control after that. I blame myself. I shouldn't have asked Marco and Richard to pose for a photo:
..which saw both of them going on a desperate search for muscle tissue:
It was getting weird. Thankfully, there were other swimmers around:
Friday Blogging Queen Elizabeth and Dom from Liverpool (NSW):
Suzanne was one of today's newbies. She loves cold water swimming and can't wait for temperatures to drop to get her first 'Winter Without Wetsuit' badge:
Gemma (again) and everyone's favourite blog tart Errol:
Finally a good photo of Edwina and JK:
It wasn't all fun and games though. Errol lost his budgies on the way back:
If anyone has found a dark blue, slightly see-through pair of trunks, please hand them to JK or Ian.
Back at the club, the boys were discussing Michael's union jack rubber pants:
Colby and Jo:
Check out the date for our next dinner:
JK cuddling with Inez for a last photo before snatching the blog camera off me:
Bonus Photos:
Many of you have been asking me about my 2017 photo series 'Shelley K. eating things'. I've been doing a lot of work for this project lately and there will be an exhibition later this year. In the meantime, please enjoy this sneak preview from one of my more recent shoots:
Good stuff. I'm sure you agree.
I leave you with this homage to Jim Hudson - once again voted 'Swimmer of the Day'. And deservedly so:
Have a great Sunday everyone!
Hug a friend. Eat plenty of fiber. And try and be a little bit more like Shelly K and Jim Hudson.

Next BB dinner
The next dinner scheduled for Tuesday 8th May is brought to us by one of our very own Dr Penny Berents and is described below. Please book soon to avoid disappointment.
‘What lives at the bottom of the ocean at 3000 metres depth in the Great Australian Bight?’
Dr Penny Berents spent a month at sea last year to answer this question. Penny will talk about life at sea on a research ship and the weird and wonderful animals discovered on the voyage.
Please book early using http://www.boldandbeautifulmanly.com.au/bb-bluewater-monthly-dinner.html
