Today was Michelle’s birthday and luckily I bumped into her walking back to my car. We had a lovely girly catch up with the cutest guy in the swim group, Napoleon
The day started off dark and quiet at manly surf club but apparently there were 427 swimmers total, early birds and late comers. Here’s the first arrivals overshadowed by a light
Nat, mother of five sons, and I started early and had a lovely crossover with midge, Lee and Maxine at the point . They started in the dark so didn’t see much marine life. We wanted to see some but weren’t lucky enough until later in the swim .
At Shelley the large swim group became more apparent and with the warm temperature of 22.7 degrees I’m sure the 20 newbies were glad they chose today. It felt like a warm bath and there were plenty of doublers taking advantage of the conditions.
Gill Akers found the dusky whalers I was looking for and sent me her photo, which isnt Uploading. Maybe anne tomorrow will find them.
I saw the fiddler Ray, always a favourite and plenty of fish .
Next dinner for the swim group is April 10th with a feature on bikram yoga! Make sure to book in , they often sell out quickly .
