I knew I had to be very organised this morning. I had a very extensive mental list going and I was wondering how I was going to be able to achieve everything I had to do. My planning process started by thinking:
I've got to get up early so I can photograph the sunrise;
I've got to be there in time to catch the 6.30's going in;
I've got to make sure I meet a few newbies and get them on the blog;
I've got to enjoy the swim and take a few fun photos at Shelley;
I've got to have a quick coffee with the WOW's on THE WALL;
I've got to race home and write and publish the blog;
Then I've got to pick up my 91 year old mother to take her to lunch with her 94 year old sister in Castle hill.
I felt the pressure mounting so I decided to change my way of thinking. I changed "I've got to" to "I get to". It made all the difference.
I get to wake up early to photograph the sunrise and the 6.30's. I get to meet new people every time I blog and take happy fun photos of happy fun people. I get to share a coffee with fabulous friends on our sunny patch of WALL . I get to push myself out of my comfort zone to try and create an interesting blog and then I get to share special moments with my mother.
How lucky am I!
Even after that whole thought process I realised I needed to make this a quick blog.

The 6.30's start to head down the ramp.

I would like to commend the 6.30's for their ability to "meet at the point"! A very nice, neat, tight assembly. Management would be so proud.
We had beautiful conditions again today. The water was beautifully warm, relatively calm with acceptable visibility. The sun managed to break through the cloud cover to offer some warmth and a bright glow.
I met John at the point who used to swim at 6.30 but has happily joined the 7 o'clock swimmers.
Kerry was desperate to get in the photo!
7 o'clockers start gathering
Edwina, Georgina, Robyn, Alison, Anne and John
Mark, Tom and Ben. It was Mark's 2nd swim and Ben's 1st. Welcome guys! I hope you enjoyed it and make it a regular Wednesday morning habit.
Inge insisted on taking my photo as we headed out
Wonder woman Jacquie, Jane and John
Sue, Jacquie and Susie who has recently joined B & B. I hope you enjoyed your swim Susie.

Sarah, Derek, Matt and James
I missed Matt's Birthday splashes at Shelly but caught up with him at Manly. Happy birthday Matt! How special to share your morning with Chloe, Tilli and Jill
Jenny with Vivian. I was lucky to meet Vivian before her first swim on Monday. She is over from the States and wanted to tick a B&B swim off her bucket list. It is very special seeing the delight on a new swimmers face after they have done the swim. It was really lovely to meet Vivian and to see that she obviously had a brilliant swim
I hope everyone gets to do all the things they want or need to do today.
Lisa
