Back to today's swim:
A few lumps and bumps greeted us at the start, but the water was a lovely warm 20.5 degrees.
The surf clock still confused..with an hour ahead of the real time.
Looking closely at this photo, you can see we have caught a rare moment with Rainer NOT posing for the camera, but doing a normal every day activity 'walking down the stairs' a rare find.
The theme of the day was 'The Problematic Pink Cap'. Errol turned up with his firmly on his head .....
I chose the half way option because of the waves. Actually who am I kidding, I nearly always chose the half way option when blogging so I stand a chance of arriving at Shelly to be able to take some photos.
Obviously the waves played havoc with Corinne's problematic pink cap as she arrived with it clinging on for dear life.
Seven new swimmers joined us today, and the beach at Shelly was packed with total swimmers count of 224.
But as quickly as you arrive, you depart.
Until there is only two.
Enjoy your Sunday, whatever you are doing.
Stats:
Newbies 7
Total 224
Water temperature 20.5
Signing off; Snorkles
(swapping my neoprene for lycra these days)
