So the best news to start the day - last night's Trivia Night raised over $10,000!
Thank you to the organisers, JK, Ian and the supporters, contributors, teams and sponsors for a great night. The monies raised help to covers costs at B&B as well as support the wonderful Royal Far West.
So let's start with the morning after the night before....
If you thought you would stay under the doona this morning, then think again.
Although there were many noticeable absentees (including birthday girl Louise Stacey, happy birthday!), around 120 people braved this cold and blustery morning for a fast swim to Shelley.
The numbers for the 6.30 Drinky Express were lower than normal.
Sterling in his slippers!
The brave girls, Eisha, Jan and Sarah (I think, apologies if I got your names wrong)
Definitely a cold morning at Shelley.
Andrew smiling, whilst those without wetsuits were keeping warm with shoulders under the water!
Glorious Ian looking happy just before 'Let's go!'
Only one major casualty. Cath got stung badly yesterday round the neck, today she had a jimble injection in the lip!
So, onto the antics of last evening.
Well there must be a few sore heads this morning (says someone doing Dry July, sponsor link below) and it was all worth it. $10,000 raised, most of it for the Royal Far West so thank you to all for the support.
Quiz master JK had some tricky questions, there were some amazing outfits, great teamwork and it was good clean fun!
Here's a selection of photos, credit and thanks to Roger Harvey for some of the better ones!
Well there was some of jimbles....just before the jimble busters came along!
Storchy and Renee both showing some leg!
Loved the pink sabre's on this table!
Martin and crew
Ooh argh, my hearties...
Bjorn again?
The 'Pink is the new Black' team
Lisa and Bev doing a marvellous job with adjudicating the results...
Drinky and fellows...
A great turn out...
Best dressed male - Shelley (aka Ian McKnight)
The best dressed team = The Pink Bats!
The team that came last place in Trivia - Shelly's Angels! Sorry team, you probably would have been better without me.
Well done again to everyone for a very fun night and for raising over $10,000.
Have a great day!

Staying safe - a timely reminder!
Remember that there are no badges for scaring yourself silly! While it is great to extend your boundaries, it is important to know your limits. Also, if you have a bit more experience, keep an eye out for new swimmers who might need company. Do read these excellent tips on staying safe in the surf. To read, or even download, click here.
WWW badge.
Please be aware that to obtain the coveted WWW badge, the only part of the body that is allowed to be covered by wet suit material are the feet (booties allowed). Apart from the feet, the body should be covered in non-wet suit material.
Also, a reminder that the philosophy of the B&B group is that we are a group activity and that swims are only to be logged for swims made between the hours of 6am and the final 7am swim (or double or triple or other sanctioned swims). Swims are NOT to be logged outside of these times for social and safety reasons. Management.
