Do or die... It’s a catchy gung-ho saying, but really it’s a fallacy of false alternatives, we’re kidding ourselves.
Let’s be honest, dying is a certainty, sooner or later. Later being the preferred option because enjoying one’s maximum quota of living is usually the aim of life. And then, if the goal is to enjoy your life to the maximum, the doing bit is also not an option. So the whole thing becomes very simple...
Do.
That is all.

Messy waves at Manly saw most swimmers heading around to start their swim from Shelley
...With a few, of the few, braving the waves and arriving from Manly
Not cold enough for wetsuits, but never too warm for cuddles
The few who 'Do'
Warm 19.6 degree clouding water
...with some chop cutting across from The Bower
The doing...
The done...
The life.

Swims are not to be logged outside of these times for social and safety reasons. Management.
