A virgin blog, written in Cammeray
published January 30th, a Saturday.
Manly was at her beautiful best,
filled with runners, paddlers and the rest.

Ian was there, John was too,
greeting the newbies, as they do.

Fifteen new recruits signed their name,
joining the Pacific Challenge Hall of Fame.
South African Quinton came for his first swim,
there's a photo below so you'll recognise him.

The six-thirty crew always know what to do;
they wait at the point, here's a pic of them too.

At seven am the crowd did swell
to around 200, its difficult to tell.
How about the dude with his leg in the air?
Takes some flexibility to get it there!

And check out the snapshot we got of them all
waiting for John to make the "lets go" call.
Manly we love you, Bold and Beautiful too
The best way to start the day, with this wonderful crew!
