This is the early morning view over Sydney Harbour and Manly I had every weekday from my office before I joined B&B (Manly in the background to the left, next to North Head)
And this is the early morning view I am enjoying now
I am not complaining about my office, but I definitively prefer the view from Manly beach, not the least because of the company of all fellow swimmers. Also, although I like my colleagues, I prefer having post swim coffee with my swimming buddies in front of the Surf Club, rather than in the office. The coffee tastes so much better in shorts, thongs, and tees-shirt rather than in suit and tie.
Swimming conditions this morning: good, although not as perfect as yesterday. The warmest day so far this summer
Bryan and Dorset ready to go at 6.20am. Dorset was supposed to leave for an overseas trip early this morning, but then his flight got delayed, therefore here he is for another swim. Safe travels Dorset
Christmas cheer on the beach
Good sun protection is essential, as skilfully demonstrated by Richard
School holidays bring out the next generation of B&B swimmers
Change of guard between the 6.30am and 7am swimmers
and more happy faces
Lainey in the water, joyful as always
We had first time swimmers too (the lady on the right, sorry but I forgot her name)
and my colleague, good friend, and serious triathlete (regular Noosa participant) Dr David Cade, after finishing an early morning double
That's it from Manly central, I need to head off to work now.
Have a great day
Bernhard

Summer Badges
There are now three badges available for those swimming in the Summer months:
- Saturday 5 December kicked off the 6 km summer badge swims. These are on every Saturday during summer.
- There is one 10 km swim in December, February and March 2015/16. The the first 10 km swim was on Saturday 12 December. Watch the blog for details of the second 10 km swim.
- Our new badge, the Shelly Triple, which involves a triple lap of Cabbage Tree Bay (ie swim to Shelly Beach and back to the point three times - total 3.5 km). This swim can be completed any day and should be logged on the i-log system. Since this is designed for those who are unable (or unwilling) to do the longer swims, this badge is only available to those who haven't completed a 6 km or 10 km swim during the season.
One last photo from my office. If you like the view and want to take some more photos, you are more than welcome to visit me (nearly) anytime in North Sydney.
