73 'ticked' Bold & Beautiful swimmers.
11 people enjoyed a lovely early Bolderdash to Queenscliff and back this morning. It was Jan Beacham and Izzy Kirk's first Bolderdash this season and Izzy's first ever without her friend the snorkel.
We were joined by Nick James's on both swims this morning and it was his first ever swim ever with us, now that's a pretty good start hey !
So much for the rain that has been predicted all week, it's a gorgeous sunny morning with beautiful, albeit 'evenly chilly' water to quote Anna Alvsdotter.
3 dusky whalers joined us all the way to shore at Shelly for a little R&R, well almost anyway.
It must have been a good weekend as some of our regular smiling faces were noticably absent this morning ;-)
In case any one was wondering Bolderdash swims are on every Mon, Wed & Fri mornings at 5.50am, 3km to Queensie and back for the duration of the summer months regardless of whether I remember to put them on the blog the day before or not.
Tim's fact of the day: "Flying fish have an amazing pair of fins that fan out and look like wings."
Jane Stevenson's daughter is coming here from LA for the birth of her baby at Manly Hospital in March. Would anyone be able to lend them a bassinet and pram (preferably with baby facing Mum/Dad/Granny) while she is here - about 6 weeks please? If anyone is able to help please could you comment below or speak to Jane directly, many thanks from Jane in anticipation!
