6 people did an early lap to Shelly and back and 8 people enjoyed a bonus double lap.
The cloulds might have filled the sky but it was still a great day for a swim as the water temerature is now in the twenty's !!
The water was actually warmer than the air this morning... and it was a warm humid morning too, so how good is that !!
A little swell, but only a little one, to start us off and bring us back. The crossing itself was quite calm and clear and the Dusky Whalers are back :-)
The guys coming back from the bonus lap saw three large Eagle Rays just off the point.

There were lots of people at Manly Wine enjoying the apres swim with about 6 different cakes all for Izzy's birthday today. Happy birthday Izzy !!
Baby Brigitte Bowes joined in the fun too and we got a great photo of B&B's youngest (3 weeks) and eldest (nearly 83 years) participants together; Brigitte and Bruce :-) I'm not sure who's enjoying the cuddle the most, Brigitte or Bruce, and check it out - they are both B's... !!
I'm sure there will be plenty of B&Bers out and about in Manly later on this evening for the Rugby Grand Final - enjoy !!
