Dardanelles update:
We arrived at our boat this morning for our inspirational cruise on the Bosphorous, and lets just say it wasn't quite the inspiration we
were looking for, we were greeted with giant sized jelly blubbers and a far bit of debris... Uhmm our B&B cossies were definitely going to
stay dry today. But oh my gosh did we have fun, it was a wonderful morning out on the boat with lots of laughs.
You find out lots about your friends when your trapped on a boat together for a few hours...
- We learnt that an acupuncturist put needles in Izzy's ears before she left Manly to keep her calm for the swim, only problem is every
time she fiddlers with them she gets excited, or was that anxious I can't remember. - Debbie van Otter made it quite clear that NO-ONE will be taking her flippers from her.
- John wanted a photo taken with just his mate Mike - aghhh how sweet ;-)
After the cruise, Mahdi, Izzy, Robyne, Michael C and myself hit the Turkish Bath which was over 300 years old and according to the
Guardian, it is one of the 1000 places you must visit before you die. It was an experience I'll give it that... !
